Terms
These are the plain-English terms for MenuCard QR. If anything here isn't clear, email orders@menucardqr.co.uk before you buy.
1. Who we are
MenuCard ("we", "us") is run by Ciprian S, London. We make QR allergen menus and printable A4 allergen menus for UK cafés, restaurants, pubs, bars and takeaways ("you").
2. What you get
- QR allergen menu: one QR menu for your whole menu, where guests can choose the UK 14 allergens, extra ingredients, a diet, or search for an ingredient. It includes 2 updates a month for new dishes or price changes.
- Bundle: a print-ready A4 allergen menu with the UK 14 key and the extra-ingredients key, 12 months of the QR allergen menu, small QR cards for your tables, and 2 updates a month for the year.
- A4 allergen menu on its own: print-ready files for you to print yourself or take to a local printer.
Prices are shown on the pricing section and depend on the size of your menu.
3. Paying
You pay by card on Stripe's secure checkout. Monthly plans are charged every month by Stripe. First-year and bundle plans are paid once and cover 12 months. After you pay, we'll email you within 1 working day to collect your menu details.
4. Your part
- You supply every detail: dishes, prices, ingredients, allergens and anything that may contain an allergen because of a shared fryer, grill, board or kitchen.
- You check and sign off your menu before it goes live, and after every update. We never guess what's in your food, so the details shown are the ones you gave us.
- Tell us straight away when a recipe, supplier or ingredient changes, so we can update your menu.
- Keep talking to your guests. Every screen reminds guests to tell staff about their allergy before ordering, and your staff should still answer their questions.
5. What MenuCard QR isn't
MenuCard QR presents the information you give us. It isn't legal advice and it isn't a compliance certificate. Your legal duties about allergen information stay with your business. The menu never describes a dish as "safe" or "free from" anything.
6. If something goes wrong
If you spot a mistake on your menu, email us and we'll fix it as soon as we can. We aim to keep the QR menus online at all times, but we can't promise they'll never be unavailable, which is one more reason guests are always asked to speak to staff.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
